FOTD: Freshness! Inspired by Minute Maid

this is my entry to the Minute Maid Contest for Beautynomics :)

when you say fresh, i think clean. i think effortless. achieving my freshest look is a mix of applying just the right amount of makeup, plus using products that bring out my natural goodness ;)



face. skip foundation, and use tinted moisturizer instead. let your skin breathe. skincare products that provide good coverage are a winner in my book. i used Stila Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer. it's got spf15 too, which is a huge plus! gotta watch out for those uv rays! then, i used E.L.F. Studio Line Corrective Concealer to brighten my undereyes.

cheeks. i used Benefit Sugarbomb to give me a light natural flush.

lips. to achieve soft pink lips, i used Maybelline Lip Smooth Color Care in Strawberry. a lip balm that moisturizes, provides great color, and protects from the sun. what more do u need?

eyes. keep it simple. i used Stila Kitten Smudge Pot to give my eyes a hint of shimmer. as for the upper lashline, forget black, and opt for blue eyeliner instead. blue eyeliner makes the white of your eyes look whiter, i used  Stila Starry Night Smudge Pot. applying white eyeliner on your lower lid can make your eyes look bigger and brighter, i used Maybelline Eyestudio Vivid & Smooth White Liner. finally, i used Blinc Mascara to achieve luscious long lashes.

i only used a handful of products to achieve this look, and it only took me a couple of minutes. easy, breezy, freshness! :)
